Welcome to the World Little Girl!

I feel like I haven't updated you guys with my projects here for a while, and now I'm trying to play catch up.  It's not that I gave up my cake life entirely (that will never happen),   it's just that I have been incredibly busy this past month.  From transitioning to a new job, which I'm very excited about,  to just making cakes, feeding my fish and oh not to mention being a wife, life has been a little bit hectic and at the same time exciting.  One of the few cakes I did recently was dedicated to my friend, Eileen's baby girl Eva Mary.  I decided to go classic on this one and used butter cream instead of fondant.  When it comes to the design, I always like a clean and simple look on my cakes. Don't get me wrong, I love intricate details but for me there is always something pleasing and charming with a cake design that has no frills.  I know little Eva can't eat it yet but I hope her mom and dad enjoyed it!  Congratulations Eileen & Rob on your beautiful little girl, God bless your family always.
